Job Description
Development, planning, and coordination of biomedical device integration (BMDI) initiatives, including but not limited to anesthesia machines, vital sign machines, infusion pumps, RTLS, and communication of those systems with the EMR, end user devices, and other systems. Supports and enhances products on larger, more complex or multiple products for enterprise resource planning, budgeting, data warehousing, and financial reporting. Collaborates with Finance and vendors to ensure products and solutions are properly supported. Provides support to ensure all products are functioning optimally, data integrity is intact and financial reports are in alignment with are produced timely and accurately. Participates in implementing or enhancing products and solutions following the hybrid product/project development and implementation lifecycle.

- Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
- Excellent strategic thinking, project management, and time management skills, preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills, preferred.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Hybrid role with the ability to report on-site as needed to support clinical operations and project milestones.
- Deep knowledge of biomedical device hardware and the clinical workflows in which it is utilized across all service lines, enabling effective identification, integration, and interoperability.
- Proven expertise providing implementation planning guidance, including network connectivity, power requirements, and mounting/placement needs.
- Experience evaluating and advising on systems software, hardware selection, and infrastructure design; partners with EDS to develop integrations with enterprise clinical information systems and the broader clinical community’s varied systems.
- Skilled in gathering customer requirements; analyzing and documenting current- and future-state workflows; and recommending improvements related to biomedical equipment operation and integration.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate installation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, configuration, performance optimization, and testing of hardware, software, and networks used for biomedical device integration, preferably with the Epic Electronic Medical Record.
- Collaborates to develop and deliver education and training for super users, clinical staff, CE staff, and BMDI Support Analysts on technologies as they relate to patient care workflows and operational processes.
- Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions with key stakeholders (Project Managers, Clinical, Technical, and Executive leaders) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Innovative, forward-thinking problem solver who proactively surfaces pertinent issues and asks probing questions to drive clarity and outcomes.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of clinical interoperability standards and technologies, as well as applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.

The salary range for this position is $85090.00-$147220.00/year
